Ineke wrote a challenging chapter in the in November 2025 published book 'Taxation of Trusts, Foundations and Similar Arrangements in a Global Setting' which is the reflection of the 2024 conference of the International Tax Law Research and Policy Network conference.
Her chapter 'Under What Circumstances Can Stewardship Foundation Structuring Be a Solution to Families, Enterprises and Society at Large?' explores the ideal concept of responsible wealth ownership. In a time of polarization and excessive inequality, we need another legal and tax framework to let societies, families ánd enterprises thrive sustainably. She proposes an inspired tax and legal framework for the endorsement of responsible wealth ownership across the board taking into account the aspirational needs of families and the directional interests of society at large, as a result of which trusts in modern democratic societies can be substantially improved.
